Early Intervention Program

Override offers an “Early Intervention Program” for patients recently injured and at high risk for chronic pain to reduce the risk of developing a chronic pain condition and delayed recovery.

The “Early Intervention Program” teaches people pain education and tangible tools to keep acute pain from turning chronic and/or leading to expensive and unnecessary procedures down the line.

Essential components include individual sessions and unlimited messaging with an Override chronic pain management coach, as well as a digitized pain education program on Override’s digital platform. Patients can participate in the program on their own time, without significant commitment so as to avoid disrupting their ongoing work and personal lives.

Workers' Compensation

Take Courage Coaching, now part of Override, has been working with workers’ comp. for almost 15 years.  Through its proprietary pain neuroscience curriculum and its experienced certified chronic pain coaches, Override can address the needs of catastrophic care and delayed recovery patients.  

For patients with newer injuries, Override has an “Early Intervention Program” designed to avoid delayed recovery and get people back to work even sooner.

Through its “Comprehensive Pain Program” – with a team of a pain medicine physician, physical therapist, psychologist, and coach – Override offers a cost-efficient, virtual alternative to traditional Functional Restoration Programs (FRPs).
